OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: The Assault Survivor Kits program provides clothing and hygiene kits to victims of abuse and assault who have been referred for assessment and treatment by police or social workers. The goal is to offer comfort and help restore dignity to these survivors of violence. In 2022-2023, over 700 hygiene kits and 2,800 clothing sets were distributed through this program. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: The Very Important Performers program was established in 2010 to honor middle school students from the Pasadena Unified School District who have demonstrated significant improvement over the course of a semester in one or more of the following areas: attendance, academics and/or behavior. In 2022-2023, each semester these students were honored with a recognition ceremony, awards, and gifts.
