Equipment and supplies for the Galapagos Islands clinics had to be carried as baggage from the United States and frequently 8-10 bags were checked and carried by director on work trips. Also during times of baggage embargos to Ecuador, it allowed extra pounds of baggage beyond the embargo limit enabling the transport of critical equipment and supplies. Management duties delegation Part VI line 3 In addition to management and leadership responsibilities, CEO serves as a full time clinical veterinarian for the organization performing direct animal care for marine animals (including extensive clinical, field and on-call responsibilities) as well as field deployment for disaster response and international work.
