During the 2023-2024 school year, HYC served 612 youth experiencing homelessness. In May 2024, 399 youth were actively participating in the program. Of those youth, 139 were high school seniors. Of the 139 seniors, 123 graduated, 15 youth attended summer school or enrolled in the fall school year, and one youth was undecided. Of the 123 graduating seniors, 92 chose to further their education by enrolling in college, 10 opted for vocational training, five decided to serve their country by enlisting in the military, and 16 entered the workforce, demonstrating the diverse opportunities provided by the program. HYC's Host Family program provided stable housing to 24 unaccompanied homeless youth this year. Four of the youth were enrolled in their first year of college. Of the 24 youth, six were seniors, and they all graduated. Four will be attending college. One will continue to live with their host family through their first year of college, and the other three will live on their college campus.
