In FY 22-23, the 211OC contact center provided live help to nearly 140,000 live contacts and supported over 308,000 self-searches for resources via our comprehensive Information and referral database available for free at211oc.org. Client Satisfaction with contact center services was 96%. Resource curators updated 900+ agencies and 2,600+ services information in the referral database. The Aging and Disability Resource Connection is a collaboration with the OC Office on Aging, Dayle McIntosh Center and other community-based organizations to connect individuals with disabilities and/or Older Adults to specific resources. 211OC's Care Coordinator provides intake, assessment, and warm handoffs to needed community resources. Community Navigators, in partnership with 211LA and OC Human Relations, provide care coordination and assistance with filling out Hate Incidents/Crimes via a centralized reporting form, and connections to community partners through GetHelpOC. 234318 166818 Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS)- 211OC works closely with the OC Sheriff's Department Emergency Operations Division to provide essential public information during local disasters. We participate in the Collaborating Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD, nationally known as VOAD) to coordinate resources when a disaster strikes. Information is disseminated to 211OC for connections during disasters such as mass care sheltering, cooling centers, vaccination sites, and more. We also have access to the emergency database with the OC Sheriff's, WebEOC to document 211OC's local response to disasters. 211OC is a provider of the San Diego Gas & Electric and Southern California Edison Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) program for people with Access and Functional Needs. As part of the program implementation, 211OC worked with 211's across California to set up a screening and Care Coordination program. As part of this work, the 211's in California set up and tested a Mutual Response system where calls could be routed to other 211 centers during an active event impacting CA communities. In FY 22-23, the Connection Center screened 7,450 people for PSPS vulnerabilities and offered care coordination services. We assisted 142 people with care coordination and planning including enrollment into Southern California Edison's CARE, and Medical Baseline programs, and preparing safety plans 1:1 in the event of a PSPS activation. 206486 67096 CalFresh-211OC is a contracted CalFresh Outreach provider, identifying hard-to-reach people who are eligible and enrolling them completely over the phone into the CalFresh program with our one-on-one enrollment services.
