The students from Buckeye Friends School also attended the Black Lives Matter peaceful protest that occurred in their home town in 2020. On the school's website you will find that Buckeye is LGBTQ affirming, employs a teach that is part of the LGBTQ community and has a transgender student. We also have seven denominations represented in our community and had our first African-American student in our summer programs. We have several students with autism and currently have one Native-American student. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 2 The President and Secretary of the organization are Mother and Daughter. The Treasurer of the organization is the bookkeeper for a business that is owned by the President. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The governing body together prepares the information that is included in the form 990. Once the form 990 is complete, each member of the Board of Directors gets a copy of this form and looks it over for changes. If there are any changes, those are made prior to the return being filed. Section A, Officers, Directors, Trustees, Key Employees, All Officers and Directors are listed and none of these individuals are compensated to be a Director or Officer. Two of these individual listed (Brian Weck and Carrie Huff) are also teachers in the school and they receive compensation for their teaching duties.
