Once approved, the Board President is authorized to sign the Form 8879-TE and the Form 990 package is submitted. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Any applicants for positions on the Board of Directors or staff positions are required to complete and sign a conflict of interest report outlining any potential conflicts of interest. Afterwards, all employees and board members are expected to avoid any potential or real conflicts of interest between their personal financial interest and the financial interest of the organization. Each meeting agenda of the board of directors opens with a request that any conflicts of interest be discussed. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Executive Director compensation was reviewed and determined in 2023. The compensation range was determined by the executive committee, based on available budget, experience, and prior pay levels. Final pay was negotiated with Executive Director, and approved by the full Board in March 2023. As outlined in the employment agreement, after three months the executive committee reviewed the Executive Director's work and progress, and increased annual pay based on good performance. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 All relevant governing documents and financial statements are available to any interested member of the public by request via email, phone, mail, or in-person.
