However, we do not invest these donations as a traditional DAF would. Instead, we mandate that all funds are to be sent out quickly, at the conclusion of every month, to ensure philanthropic impact is realized as soon as possible. We aim to democratize access to the complex financial DAF vehicle by significantly simplifying the DAF giving process and lowering barriers to giving so that the perks and ease of giving to any charity in the US through a DAF are accessible to all donors, regardless of their financial strata or level of philanthropic sophistication. We offer the opportunity for donors to send philanthropic support within the level of privacy they are most comfortable with - a perk that is normally only available to donors who utilize traditional DAFs, but, through our organization, is now a privacy perk that is readily available to everyone. We primarily issue unrestricted grants. As such, we do not require grant reporting from our grantees. In some cases, we direct grants to specific programs within established 501(c)(3) organizations, provided these programs are already set up and open to receiving public support. For example: directing general support to benefit reforestation efforts undertaken by an environmental nonprofit. Since such a program is a long-standing and publicly supported effort, we do not require additional reporting from the grantee in these cases. The Anondo Fund Terms of Use agreement (that all donors must agree to before giving) states that in order for organizations to receive grants, they must meet our eligibility requirements. For eligibility, organizations must: (i) be recognized by the IRS as exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (ii) be classified as a public charity under Section 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code; (iii) be in good standing with applicable state and federal regulatory authorities; (iv) not engage in money laundering or other illegal activities; and (v) not be named on the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control watch list.
