The skatepark is expected to be completed by June 2024. 1100 Let's Skate held events as follows:Block Party - annual one-day event used to connect with the community, share progress, & distribute donations that were collected for other charitable organizations at the event. The 2023 event also served as a fundraiser for Let's Skate, with local businesses providing food, beverage, talent, & space, all in benefit of Let's Skate's efforts to raise funding for the Barb Iverson Skate Plaza.That Sounds Decent - annual one-day music festival at which Let's Skate sets up a 'pop up' skatepark. The park serves as a space for beginner & advanced skaters to connect with one another, while also providing Let's Skate with the opportunity to share progress regarding the construction of the Barb Iverson Skate Plaza, as well as future plans & opportunities.Skatedeck Art Show - annual art show in benefit of Let's Skate. In 2023, our weekend-long show had over 60 participants of all skill levels create an original piece of artwork on a skateboard.
