The Foundation and the Center meet the attentiveness and responsiveness tests as described below. The amount of support received from the Foundation is a sufficient part of the Emery/Weiner Center's total support to ensure attentiveness. During the fiscal year ended 6/30/2023, the Foundation contributed approximately 6% of the Center's total contribution revenue. The Foundation has supported the Center since its inception in 2003. The funds granted to the Center are used for financial aid and scholarships. The officers and trustees of each organization maintain a close working relationship. The annual audits of the School and the Foundation ensure that the funds are used only as directed.
