FASB ASC 740 requires the evaluation of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in the course of preparing financial statements to determine whether the tax positions are "more-likely-than-not" to be sustained by the applicable tax authority. The Randolph Partnership does not believe there are any unrecognized tax benefits or costs as of June 30, 2024. Income tax returns from 2021 through 2023 are open to examination by the tax authorities. The agencies must focus on children 0-5 and their parents; assure that direct dollars are going solely to children 0-5; assure that individuals hired with funds focus on children 0-5. In addition, the agencies must report any suspected child abuse; comply with fiscal reporting requirements; submit required reports and information on a monthly basis; be available for monitoring visits by Randolph County Partnership for Children, Inc. staff and attend any required meetings as arranged by Randolph County Partnership for Children, Inc. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The Executive Director, Board Chair, Board Treasurer, and Board of Directors review the 990 tax return before the return is filed. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Board members are required to sign a statement saying that they know and will comply with the conflict of interest policy. Each year the board members are required to review the conflict of interest policy and sign a statement that they have done so.
