As one of the oldest, largest, and most established nonprofit organizations in Chicago, the YMCA works to strengthen neighborhoods by responding to the unique needs of each community. * In 2023, the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago provided $652,296 in membership and program financial assistance, such as day camp, swim lessons, childcare, mentorship, and more, to individuals and families who qualify.
