A monthly E-Bulletin and an Arts2Work Newsletter. We also offer a limited Fiscal Sponsorship program for invited projects that align with the Alliance mission. <Desc>Innovation Studio: The Innovation Studio program supports the development of unique interactive digital media projects, platforms, tools and approaches to storytelling designed to foster strong, resilient creative communities. We think in systems, build replicable models, and take risks with new technology. Our teams are diverse, intergenerational and collaborative. Strategy, design, development, and prototyping in the Alliance Innovation Studio is customized uniquely for each project. We bring together a team of creative and tech experts based on the needs of the project; the central requirement for inclusion in the Innovation Studio is a commitment to sharing out the development process with the field and making the project available for replication (Continued on Schedule O)in diverse communities and contexts. In every case, we will publish the code, share the data and provide templates or toolkits to enable meaningful and effective adoption. Projects developed in the Innovation Studio include the Open Archive Initiative, Alliance XR Gallery and Futures We Dream, a national creative collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution.</Desc>

<Desc>Youth Media Network: The Alliance Youth Media Network programs convene, connect, nurture and sustain strategic development in the Youth Media field. We support innovative and emerging models of practice within the fields of youth media, creative youth development, and media literacy. We do this through the collaborative production of a youth media magazine, ongoing Collective Action work, hosting national Video Roundtables and a global Youth Media Summit, mentoring a cohort of Youth Media Fellows each year, and supporting the leaders of a national network of youth media organizations. All of the programs of our Youth Media Network use an intergenerational, co-creative approach as a means to demonstrate the possibilities and impact of a range of youth and elders working collaboratively and inclusively, interrogating power and privilege across program areas, with the goal of providing new models and emerging practices for the field.</Desc>

<ExplanationTxt>Conflict of Interest Policy covers Board Members and Executive Director. Each covered person must furnish a completed conflict of interest disclosure statement to the Secretary or designated compliance officer prior to their election to the board. The Executive Committee, in consultation with the Executive Director, reviews Disclosure Statements to determine if restrictions are required. At the next full Board meeting, necessary restrictions are discussed, noted in the minutes and implemented in an addendum to the disclosure statement, subject to review upon appointment as an officer, or upon appointment as a manager, as applicable, and thereafter on an annual basis. In addition, each current covered person should update his/her disclosure statement promptly if there is any material change in the information s/he provided in his/her disclosure statement. To facilitate such disclosure, the Secretary will provide covered persons with a list of the Alliance's material transactions and relationships upon request. The Secretary must provide a copy of all completed annual disclosure statements to the board Chair and the Executive Director. If a board member is determined to have a conflict of interest, several restrictions may be imposed to ensure the integrity of the organization and avoid legal or ethical issues. Common restrictions might include: 1. Disclosure: The board member must disclose the conflict of interest to the board and, sometimes, to the public or stakeholders, depending on the organization's policies. 2. Recusal from Decision-Making: The board member may be required to abstain from voting or participating in discussions related to the matter in which the conflict exists. They should step out during discussions to ensure transparency. 3. Resignation from Specific Roles: If the conflict is related to a specific project or committee, the board member might be asked to step down from that role or committee to avoid any undue influence. 4. Approval of Actions by Disinterested Board Members: Any decisions involving the conflict must be approved by board members who do not have a conflict. The disinterested members ensure that decisions are fair and in the best interest of the organization. 5. Independent Review: Some organizations may require an independent third-party review of the transaction or matter to ensure it is fair and does not benefit the conflicted board member inappropriately. 6. Removal from Board: In extreme cases where the conflict is severe or cannot be mitigated, the board may ask the member to resign or, if necessary, remove them in accordance with the organization's bylaws.</ExplanationTxt>

<ExplanationTxt>The Board of Directors follows a structured process to determine the compensation for the Executive Director, ensuring fairness, compliance with regulations, and alignment with the organization mission and financial health. The process was last undertaken in 2021. The Board utilizes comparability data and evaluates the Executive Director's performance to determine proposed compensation. The Board then considers budget constraints to determine final compensation. Once these steps are complete the Board formally approves the compensation package through a vote during a board meeting, documenting the process and decision.</ExplanationTxt>
