Form 990, Part VI, Line 16b: While no policy or procedure that is written exists, in every instance where Lamoille Health Partners (LHP) has entered into a joint venture, LHP has secured legal advice to understand the implications of entering into an LLC agreement and its impact on the Organization's tax exempt status. This is the normal procedure followed to safeguard the Organization's tax exempt status for all LLC agreements. Previously, LHP's Schedule R listed several LLC entities as related organizations which constituted the Organization's joint ventures. The Organization has disposed of its interest in all joint ventures it previously participated in with taxable entities in previous tax years.
