PMS Foundation is classified as other than a private foundation in accordance with U.S. GAAP, the foundation uses a recognition threshold and measurement attributes to assess the recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. Management believes the Foundation has taken no significant uncertain tax positions and, thus, has not accrued for unrecognized tax benefits. Should there be a future recognition of uncertain tax positions, any related interest and penalties accrued would be reported as an other operating expense. Once the board has given majority approval, the Form 990 is filed. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Board members are required to complete annual conflict of interest disclosure forms which outline the businesses, financial interest, political interests and organizational memberships that could create actual or perceived conflicts. PMS Executive Leadership team reviews regularly such disclosure statements to ensure no conflicts of interests are present. Members of the PMS board are prohibited from being employed by PMS. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, line 19 PMS makes its governing documents, finnaical statements or policies/procedures available to the public upon request.
