Board transactions are done publicly and violations would be evident. Directors would be asked to resign or legal action take based on severity of transgression. Staff by policy are required to discuss any outside employment that may lead to a possible conflict of interest, which would be grounds for dismissal. We are also monitored annually by the State of Arizona or state-contracted entities that review policies and interview staff. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 Compensation of officers is based on annual performance evaluations by the executive board. Compensation is voted on by the full board and is based on availability of funds for both the officers and staff. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, line 19 Documents are available upon request.
