We submitted recommendations to the Reparations Task Force; met with the offices of state legislators to introduce our organization; 2 co-founders were selected to serve on the state quality and mixed delivery work group; presented a webinar for the California Department of Education. 17344 0 0 Child Care Provider Support: We hosted a virtual event of appreciation for 65 Black child care providers during Black History Month. Providers received items to use during and after the event to promote their self-care. From this event, we recruited providers to attend a rally in Sacramento promoting higher pay for child care providers, in line with our strategic plan goal of eliminating the racial wage gap.
