Each of our learning centers is currently offering regular weekly or monthly activities for both children and their parents to interact in an active, comfortable, safe and friendly environment. Projects in 2022 our FIT Health and Wellness and Kinship Kitchen and related food insecurity feeding and training initiatives to prepare parents for healthy lifestyles and wellness for the whole family. 88720 80720 LHCC Afterschool Homework Reading and Literacy Support ~ LHCC provides weekly after-school support and tutoring for children in Kindergarten and older, utilizing professional resources in partnership with community Title 1 schools. Our goal is to insure student success and confidence, improve reading, writing and math proficiency, along with overall school grades. Our volunteers are committed to building relationships with the kids, along with helping them academically. 72622 38923 LHCC Summer Enrichment Camps ~ Children's summer camps facilitate reading and academic enrichment activities, educational field trips, sports, arts and crafts, STEM, and much more. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Documents are available upon request and also published on Guidestar Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 Other changes in net assets and fund balances pertain to: Increase in board designated contribution to the Jerry Green Education Scholarship fund in the amount of $11,000 and an increase in temporary restricted board designated funds of $30,000 set aside for future investments in programs associated with our Kinship Kitchen and food insecurity program. $12,000 was released from temporary restricted funds to cover program expenses. The net increase in temporary restricted funds is $28,000.
