Part II 1) PCMA Education Foundation is one of the key sponsors of association scholarships for the Singapore MICE Forum. The Singapore MICE Forum which is supported by SACEOS (Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers) in partnership with PCMA, is a highly respected MICE industry event which takes place yearly in Singapore, with over 400 participants from Asia Pacific countries. This event is a critical part of PCMA's growth strategy in the region to expand the PCMA brand and education engagement. By offering these scholarship opportunities, we are offsetting much of the costs related to attending the Singapore MICE Forum, which is a hurdle to association executive participate. This grant request asks for funding of six (6) scholars and the profiles of the scholarship recipients include: Association executives and PCO/3rd party representatives from South-East Asian countries. 2) Scholarships for European-based business event strategists invited by the PCMA European Advisory Board, for Convening Leaders 2018. This grant seeks funding of fourteen (14) European Influencers, as identified and invited by the PCMA European Advisory Board. 3) The EIC (formerly CIC) recently released new domain content for the exam, and the exam prep course must be reviewed and updated to ensure it is properly covering those domains. The course update scope would be to review the existing course content and make sure it mirrors the new domains of the exam. There are 68 hours of content that the need to be reviewed, mapped, and suggestions provided for what might need to be altered (e.g., "no coverage of XX topic, or "too much coverage of XX topic"). The course needs to be "weighted" to match the updated content domains, and we need to determine whether the content is an accurate distillation of the source content. 4) The scholarship will support 30 total recipients from the two regions. In APAC, it will include 10 corporate professional scholarships to attend the ICESAP Annual Conference and receive PCMA premium content access for one year, as well as 5 scholarships for APAC-based students to attend the ICESAP Annual Conference. In EMEA, 10 association/corporate professional scholarships will be awarded to attend the PCMA European Influencers Summit and receive premium content access for one year. In addition, 5 scholarships will be distributed for EMEA-based students to attend the Summit. 5) Provide the opportunity to invite and fund up to 20 scholarships for representatives from growing global markets to attend Convening Leaders 2018. These scholarships will assist in supporting PCMA brand growth globally, engaging new individuals with our organization. 6) Scholarships in support of faculty wishing to attend PCMA Convening Leaders in 2018. Scholarships will be available to both members and non-members.
