The project paired 8 youth artists to serve as apprentices to the two professional muralists. Through their ideating sessions the youth, who received a stipend for their work, and the artists collaborated on the design concept and completed the subsequent artwork, which has been featured in print and online publications, and was a featured stop in Tucsons Cyclovia 2022 event. 43402 Educational Exhibits - The National Heritage Area worked with multiple partners and stakeholders in the many communities throughout the area to install 21 educational panels.
