Student gain an understanding and appreciate the the impact agriculture has in our community. Line 29) Members traveled to Farm Bureau Days in Tallahassee which is an opportunity to meet with their state representatives and senators to discuss isssues impacting agriculture. By educating legislators on how decisions made impact constituents we work towards the betterment of those engage in agriculture. Line 30) Desoto-Charlotte County Farm Bureau supports youth education. We support our FFA and 4H programs which help facilitate a learning environment for future agriculturalists. We provide scholarship opportunites for students involved in these programs.
