Full membership is available to institutions of higher education; schools and districts; data software, and service providers; related third parties; state and federal goverment agencies; and national, state, or local associations or agencies having interest in the activities of PESC. Each full member is entitled to only one vote, which it exercises through a self-appointed primary representative. Affiiliate membership is open to any other parties with an interest in the support and promotion of electronic standards in education. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a All member of PESC's board of directors, other than the President & CEO, are elected to two-year terms by the full members at annual membership meeting held each Spring. Each full member's appointed representative is eligible to be nominated to serve on the board. In addition, at the annual membership meeting, full members vote on the annual dues for the upcoming year and on the annual operating budget recommneded by the Board of Directors. The chair also conducts an annual performance review of the President & CEO, and the board of directors discusses performanace reiview results and amount of compensation increases, if any, in an executiive session at each year annual retreat.
