The Executive Director also makes an annual site visit to the Tyndale House to see the effect of the funds used and to interview those involved with the funded programs. Part I, line 3: Expenditures are accounted for using the modified accrual method of accounting. Part III Accounting Method: Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 1a The Executive Committee is composed of the Chairman and three Directors. The Committee is empowered to act for the full board between meetings and reports any action taken at the next board meeting. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b An independent CPA firm prepares Form 990. The Chairman/Executive Director performs a detailed review and then forwards a copy of the 990 to the board for review prior to filing with the IRS. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Board members and officers sign annual conflict of interest statements. The Chairman/Executive Director reviews the signed statements and the Chairman/Executive Director's statement is reviewed by another board member. Should any potential conflicts of interest be disclosed, the board member or officer would be asked to refrain from participation in any deliberation or decision with regard to matters affected by the relationship.
