Of the 44 applications received, 34 parent leaders were accepted, and we successfully launched our POI programming with a weekend of events, beginning in October of 2022. Through connections to the parent leaders involved in POI, we have representation from five school districts, supporting over 60 children in both traditional district schools and public charter schools. We are excited about the resources and reach that will be afforded through our training of the parents currently participating in POI 2023, and the future trainings that are in the works.
