We provided academic , social and emotional support through our after school curriculum. In 2021 we shifted to online services to comply with Covid-19 health guidelines. Each family earned stipends for an average of $550 each. Once each family (parents and their students) completed our after school programs, we provided them with the funds granted by our donors who gave us approval to valuate the stipends based on the work, time and support we provided throughout the year. 100 82643 0 Scholarships based on the number of families we have capacity to serve and program completion. Schedule I, Part I, Line 2 We keep record of all registered families who complete the qualifications for grants that we distribute to them based on all grant restrictions. Bank statements are used to show all funds distributed to the community. Registration forms are kept to ensure valid contact information is collected and used to ensure that each recipient qualifies for the funding and that they receive proper tax instructions. Also, on a monthly basis, we encourage all staff and volunteers to submit any issues that may be considered a violation of our conflict of interest policy. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Our executive committee obtains research and information to make a recommendation to the full board for the compensation (salary and benefits) of the Executive Director (and other highly compensated employees or consultants) based on a review of comparability data. To approve the compensation for the Executive Director (and other highly compensated employees and consultants) our board must document how it reached its decisions, including the data on which it relied, in minutes of the meeting during which the compensation was approved. When hiring other positions, a job description which includes required education, experience and suitability for our organization's mission. Also, we obtain information for each position by research of fair market compensation, then the salary/fee/compensation is reviewed and approved by our Board of Directors.
