We advocated for a statewide office of community violence intervention and WON that office and 15.5M of funding for CVI work (with 500K in the state budget specifically for Force Detroit); and We began building a Community Violence Intervention site in Detroit's Cody Rouge neighborhood and will soon be able to quantify the safety impact of our work We advanced conversations about funding Community Violence Intervention and establishing an office of neighborhood safety at the local city level We organized several grassroots advocacy and programmatic partners to participate in building Detroit's community led safety ecosystem.
