Member election for additional members Part VI line 7a The Organization selects members based upon designeted criteria.New members are screened by the Board and accepted of rejected.Accepted members agree to annual dues and dock rental fees.Members are requested to commit to a predetermined number of service hours to retain their membership. Governing body decisions Part VI line 7b CPYCs monthly internal fiancial reports and annual tax returns are posted on the Clubs website with member access only so as not to position CYPC in a non-competitive environment with the adjacent for profit marinas in regards to future membership or growth and retention. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 Commodore Perry Yacht Clubs (CPYC) treasurer completes IRS forms 990 and 990T and reviews the documents annually with all CPYC Bridge and Board members present at their regular monthly meetings. The Clubs office minute book reflects any and all questions and answer discussions requarding tax documents involved. Upon review the forms are then filed annually with the Internal Revenue Service. Governing documents etc available to public Part VI line 19 All minutes of Bridge and Board meetings are read out loud at each quarterly regular membership meeting along with the financial reports for general membership approval. All inquires by the general public regarding governing documents, conflicts of interest concerns or requets for financial statement disclosure are fulfilled per the specific individual request.
