The committee meets with each applicant and reviews their financial needs. A written record is maintained showing amounts granted over a period of time and continued monitoring is performed to assure eligibility and need. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 Part VI, Section A, 8and 8b: The governing body officers meet at least monthly, along with the the excutive director to review financial position, discuss policy changes and discuss assistance applications submitted to the Society. Contemporaneous written minutes are prepared for each meeting. There are no separte committees or sub-committees assigned with authoritiy or resposiblities. This is a small organization where all authority and responsiblities rests within the governing board. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c No officers or directors are allowed to engage in any business relationship with St. Vincent DePaul that provides financial gain, either directly or indirectly. No officers or directors receive any compensation nor any employee benefits. Similarly, no officers or directors are engaged as independent contractors providing services to St. Vincent DePaul. Finally, no officers or directors engage in any lease or rental of personal property or real property with St.Vincent DePaul. CEO executive director top management comp Part VI line 15a The executive director reports to, and is hired by, the board of directors. The board sets salary and benefits. The excutive director is not a member of the board and is not related to any of the board members. Compensation is reviewed annually. There is no long term employment contract nor any deferred salary arrangements. Other officer or key employee compensation Part VI line 15b The only designated officer is the executive director described in paragraph 15A. Sole authority to hire any executive level person rests with the board.
