An additional $28,871 was spent on repairs as many of the computers are in working condition and can be demonstrated. The museum was open to the public by appointment every week day except holidays. Rapid advances in technology in the early 1980's made some ComputerLand inventory obsolete before it could be sold. The old ComputerLand store had a bank vault in the basement so it was filled with the vintage tech. Today the museum's extensive collection is exhibited with System Source, an IT systems integrator in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Schedule D, Part III, Line 4 The museum collection includes vintage personal computer, antique adding machines, computer games, software, and vintage computer toys. The museum also exhibits historical typewriters, printers, Dictaphone machines, graphotype machines and a Linotype Model 31. A collection of main-frame computers are on display. These items are displayed to wak a visitor through the evolution of computing from the Antikythera mechanism circa 1 BC, through abacus, Napiers bones and other antique mechanical calculating devices. Then the museum displays the vintage typewriters and printing machines to show the evolution of word processing output. The extreme advancement in computing power is also shown by the display of main-frames (included a CRAY display), vintage personal computers and today's handheld computers. The museum conducts tours for individuals and school groups. Vintage computer repair workshops are also an annual event at the museum. Most decisions are made by the President after discussions are held with various directors and officers. The decisions have been verbally communicated most of the time with some email follow ups.
