These individual members attended the medical center and have joined their respective alumni association councils. The members of each council elect or appoint a president of their council and elect or appoint representatives to serve on the UNMC Alumni Association Board of Directors. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The finance committee reviews the year end financials with the alumni director and provides a recommendation to the executive committee. The executive committee makes a recommendation to the full board for the approval of the year end financials. Year end financials are sent to the Tax Department of the University of Nebraska System to prepare the Form 990.The Board of Directors reviews the Form 990 and related schedules with the alumni director on an annual basis prior to filing with the IRS. The Board of Directors approves the filing of the Form 990 and the related schedules. The UNMC Alumni Association has contracted the UNMC, Alumni Relations Office, for program management and administration UNMC Human Resources conducts compensation surveys to ensure employees are paid at market rates.
