All artwork in the gallery is on loan from the local artists and are not recorded as assets. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 Each person who pays annual dues is considered to be a member of the Beaufort Historical Association. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a A nominating committee brings names to the board for approval. An annual meeting is held with the full membership (or whoever is at the meeting) and the membership votes on the candidates for the board. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b Executive Director reviews a draft copy of the Form 990. The tax return is presented to the finance committee for approval at their monthly meeting and upon their approval, it is submitted to the board who then approves it at their quarterly meeting. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15b The budget, to include salaries, is first approved by the Finance Committee, then the full Board.
