We hosted 13 webinars in 2022 providing 2,900 nonprofit staff with voter engagement resources. We offered tailored support, led webinars, and made presentations to 20 different organizations to achieve scale, including the National Low-Income Housing Coalition, Goodwill, National Family Support Network, YMCA, National Council on Aging and others. In February, we released the Americas Nonprofits Get Out the Vote report documenting the share of nonprofits doing voter engagement and the strong connection to race and community served. Through our field program, we supported voter engagement efforts at 144 nonprofits across nine states reaching nearly 52,000 voters. In June 2022, we adopted a new strategic plan through 2026. 623559 145918 National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is a civic holiday managed by Nonprofit VOTE. We recruited and supported 110 major national partners and 4,211 community partners who collectively helped 414,016 voters register or update their registration. We provided online toolkits and legal guides to partners, hosted webinars that drew hundreds of attendees, and mailed partners organizing kits with free event posters and stickers. The event generated significant media coverage with placements accross print, TV, radio, and online media. It dominated social media and was the #1 trending hashtag for 6 hours straight on Twitter (now X). Work also conducted post-event data collection, reporting/evaluation, and initial planning for 2023 and beyond. Expected deliverables are written into the Memorandum of Understanding with each approved Organization as part of a joint effort agreement. We have systems of quality control that run throughout the programs, including regular check-ins, data collection, and reporting protocols where appropriate, and final reporting expectations. Our staff reviews this information to identify challenges early on so we can intervene in problem spots with additional coaching as necessary. Due to the nature of its charitable purpose, Nonprofit VOTE, Inc. typically experiences increases in support that correleate to election cycles. In addition, some foundations award multi-year grants to the Organization or grants that span fiscal years. This is evidenced by the end-of-year balances in 2021 and 2022 of over $900,000 and $1,460,000 respectively in net assets with donor restrictions. A significant portion of these amounts are time-restricted revenue for use in 2023 and 2024.
