The use of facilities may be limited to the clubhouse. Member election for additional members Part VI line 7a The only class of members allowed to vote is Full Members in good standing. Every Full Member has the right to vote in person or by absentee ballot for elections of the governing body. Governing body decisions Part VI line 7b The only class of members allowed to vote is Full Members in good standing. The approval of Full Members is required for elections of the governing body, assessments of memberships, bank financing or any capital expenditures of more than $75,000. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 The Form 990 is presented to the Commodore and Treasurer for review before it is filed with the IRS. After reviewing Form 990, the Treasurer signs the electronic filing form and the return is then filed electronically with the IRS by the company accountant. A copy of Form 990 is made available to all members and the Board of Directors, upon request. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c The Board Members are covered under the conflict of interest policy. A member of the Board is required to disclose any conflicts of interest to the other Board members. Conflicts of interest are reviewed at the board level. The person with the conflict is prohibited from participating in the governing bodys deliberation and decisions in the transactions.
