Many of these change from year to year as money is moved from Income to fund leasehold and other improvements which must accrue over several years because they cannot be accommodated within a single-year operating budget. Money is then moved back into an operating budget as projects are scheduled but does not show as income. Most of it does show as leasehold improvements. This also explains Form 990, Part XI, Line 9. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 Members join and remain members so long as they pay dues per the Club ByLaws Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a All Club members elect all officers annually. Board of Directors members are elected for two year term annually, except for the previous year's Commodore (President) who remains as a Board member Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b All decisions of the Officers and Board members are subject to the oversight of the entire membership. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b All members of the governing body receive copies of the form 990 and accompanying addenda to review and compare to the audited annual report of the Treasurer and vote on acceptance.
