Particular attention is given to making sailing accessible to the low income and under served community. This is accomplished through targeting our donations to programs deemed consistent with our mission, as well as through encouraging volunteerism from among the sailing community and beyond. Provided grants totaling $40,560 to Eugene Yacht Club to expand the Youth Activities Dock thereby expanding the sailing season for their youth programs, including 2 nearby colleges. 40560 0 Provided a grant of $10,000 to Willamette Sailing Club to partially fund a Youth Coach and Development Director. This individual coordinates youth-based sailing programs through Willamette Sailing Club, as well as other sailing organizations throughout Oregon. 10000 0 Provided a grant in the amount of $10,770 to Willamette Sailing Club for a Community Sailing Program that directly served approx 60 participants through a program offered to several under-served high schools in the Portland area. 10770 0 Provided a grant of $3500 to Columbia Gorge Racing Assn to fund the Community Sailing Program, developed by Oregon youth Sailing Foundation, to under-served youth. 3500 0 Provided a grant of $1850 to the Willamette Sailing Club to partially offset costs to repair dinghy boats used to teach youth sailing. 1850 0 Provided a grant of $3000 to Willamette Sailing Club to help fund their Community Boat Build Program.
