Particular attention is given to making sailing accessible to the low income and under served community. This is accomplished through targeting our donations to programs deemed consistent with our mission, as well as through encouraging volunteerism from among the sailing community and beyond. The Oregon Youth Sailing Foundation provided a grant to the Willamette Sailing Club (WSC) for the purchase of a Reinforced Inflatable Boat and Trailer to be used in WSC's high school sailing program and other youth programs. WSC's youth sailing programs serve over 100 youths in the area. 11340 11340 Oregon Youth Sailing Foundation board members met with representatives of Portland State University and Lewis and Clark University in efforts to restart their club sailing programs.
