During this festival we performed Alonzo's Lullaby, presented a workshop for children and participated in a Panel on Contemporary Practices in Puppetry. For the third year we participated in the National Cherry Blossom Festival with lantern workshops and processions. 575 0 6125 EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH We began FY13 with the completion of programming began in FY12 that included workshops on puppetry at Strathmore Music Hall, stilt walking at Puppeteers of America Festival and Parade Arts at American Visionary Arts Museum. In Partnership with the Department of Rec & Parks and the Parks & People Foundation, we offered a Monthly Workshop Series running from April 2012 through August 2013 to teach free stilt walking classes in Baltimore City's Parks. . This program kicked off a commitment to sharing the art of stilt walking with people of all ages as a means to overcome fears, build self confidence, increase health through fun exercise and celebrate our communities and wonderful parks.
